Au début on était parti de «vu cumprà», appellation collée à tout ce qui bouge et qui est étranger, reprise au péjoratif de la gymnastique linguistique des frères ambulants pour se débrouiller à bazarder leur pacotille aux italiens, dans la jungle d’un idiome qu’ils n’ont pas pu étudier.
Cette expression est ensuite entrée dans le vocabulaire non seulement populaire, jusqu’à en engendrer d’autres de la même teneur, plus ou moins assaisonnées d’humour.
C’est ainsi qu’on a eu donc, suivant la saison, «vu votà?», «vu viaggià?» «vu giocà?» «vu lavorà?» "vu giocà?" pour arriver à «vu rimpatrià?» (Zut!), pour ne citer que ceux-là.
Le Mondial d’Afrique du Sud 2010 a rehaussé le lustre de l’Afrique, la démontrant tout à fait capable d’organiser au mieux un évènement planétaire de telle envergure et surtout de fêter le sport, dans la gaîté, au-delà des résultats, comme cela se doit, dans l'esprit de Pierre De Coubertin.
Cet esprit de joie a une reine: la "vuvuzela", élue symbole d’une Afrique qui s’amuse de façon franche et spontanée, malgré qu'elle ait peu, là où ailleurs, sous d'autres latitudes, on n’arrive plus à s’amuser malgré qu’on ait beaucoup, pour ne pas dire trop, poussant même jusqu’à s’irriter de voir le voisin qui, lui (comment ose-t-il?), s’amuse!!!
On nous a collé, comme malheureusement souvent ça se passe, un nom qu’on n’a pas demandé et alors, pour une fois, créons-nous en un nous-mêmes, invitant à la contagion du sourire et du «be cool and easy»: cette énergie que la reine vuvuzela a transmise au monde.
Au lieu de "vu cumprà", je serais bien au contraire fier d’accepter de me faire appeler plutôt «vu vuzela?»
